All Things Go NYC Expands Lineup by Opening Main Stage to Unsigned Talent

As late-summer festival season rounds toward its closing weekends, organizers across North America are still adding names to their 2026 lineups — a familiar ritual that, this year, reaches its most ambitious form at All Things Go NYC, where the festival has just opened a door for an unsigned artist to share its stage.

A Stage Built for Discovery

Announced on August 18, a new partnership between All Things Go and TikTok LIVE channels the platform's global Music on Stage competition into a performance slot at All Things Go's New York edition, scheduled for September 25–27. The grand prize winner will share a bill that already reads like a who's-who of contemporary women-led pop and indie songwriting: Zara Larsson, Lola Young, MUNA, Carly Rae Jepsen, Brandi Carlile, Sienna Spiro, and The Beaches — a roster that echoes the sonic territory All Things Go has spent nearly a decade cultivating.

Submissions opened with the announcement, with creators performing live on TikTok throughout August. Regional finals are set for Friday, August 28, before a judging panel that includes Lizzy Plapinger — the artist behind LPX and one half of MS MR, as well as co-founder of Neon Gold Records — alongside an advisor to All Things Go.

For Plapinger, the project reads as a continuation of a personal throughline rather than a marketing exercise. "Creating opportunities for new voices has always been fundamental to All Things Go, making this collaboration with TikTok a natural fit," she said in a statement. "Discovering and supporting emerging artists has been a throughline of my career, and I'm excited to help spotlight an artist for the chance to perform on the festival's New York stage."

Shen Gao, Head of LIVE Operations, Americas at TikTok, framed the partnership in similar terms, suggesting that creators on the platform are already building real communities in real time — momentum, he implied, that deserves a proper festival payoff rather than another screen.

The Wider Lineup Scramble

Beyond New York, the late-summer addition game is playing out on several fronts. According to the Porterville Recorder, the Bay Area's largest music festival continues to add artists to its lineup, though no specific new names have been detailed publicly. In Canada, POP Montréal has announced its full festival lineup, per Seven Days Vermont, while the country-focused RedWest festival has confirmed three additional artists for its 2026 edition, according to regional outlet 1035 KISS FM Boise.

For fans who track set lists with the devotion of archivists, the practical takeaway is straightforward: the festival map is still shifting. Signing up for venue newsletters, following artists directly, and watching for festival-tagged social posts remain the cleanest routes to catching a late addition before the gates open. And this season, those habits might just deliver the rarer sight of an unsigned act graduating from a phone screen to a festival stage worth talking about.
