Weezer Unveil Global Gathering Tour Dates and Star-Studded C.E.O. Music Video
Weezer rolled out the full itinerary for their 2026–2027 international run in support of the upcoming self-titled album "Weezer: The Gathering," according to Billboard.
The tour kicks off Sept. 8 at Sacramento's Golden 1 Center and stretches across North America, Japan, and Europe before closing June 1 in Helsinki. Alongside the dates, the band dropped the video for "C.E.O.," a self-aware comedy featuring Rob Riggle, Rob Huebel, Michael Peña, Giovanni Ribisi, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, and Tony Hawk.
The road from Sacramento to Helsinki
The North American leg charges through San Francisco, Portland, Vancouver, Seattle, Denver, Chicago, Detroit, Toronto, Boston, Philadelphia, Brooklyn, and Milwaukee, with the run closing Oct. 24 at a sold-out Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles. The Shins and Silversun Pickups open the 32 North American dates. From there the band jumps to Japan in February, then threads through Ireland, the U.K., France, Amsterdam, Norway, and Sweden before winding down June 1 at Veikkaus in Helsinki; Taking Back Sunday opens the overseas shows.
"C.E.O." and the meta gag
Directed by Brendan Walter and Jasper Graham, the "C.E.O." clip leans hard into self-parody. Two dopey suits (Riggle and Huebel) pitch tired visual ideas, including a recreation of the 1994 "Undone — The Sweater Song" video. Rivers Cuomo deadpan talk-sings "Cranking out another '90s jam / Wish I could do something new / But nobody wants to hear that / They just want the classics" before the track detonates into Weezer's signature quiet-loud-quiet surge. Midway through, the director (Obsession helmer Curry Barker) fires the band and imports replacements — Peña, Ribisi, Mintz-Plasse, and skating legend Tony Hawk — while Jay Renshaw takes over for Cuomo and the real Weezer heads outside to play Hacky Sack.

U.K. buyers who pre-order the album from the Weezer webstore before 3 p.m. BST on Aug. 10 unlock the Aug. 11 presale at 10 a.m. BST; EU fans on the mailing list receive a code Aug. 10 around 10 p.m. CEST for an Aug. 11 11 a.m. local presale. General on-sale for U.K./EU dates opens Aug. 14 at 10 a.m. BST, with Japan tickets dropping Sept. 5 at 10 a.m. local. "Weezer: The Gathering" lands Aug. 21 via Reprise/Warner Records — the band's seventh self-titled LP (the "Gold Album") and 12th overall — following the singles "Shine Again" and "We Might as Well Be Strangers."
